Welcome to KRT Digital Productions.
We originally launched in 1986 (as KRT Video Productions) when we filmed and produced anything from children's parties to corporate promotionals, grasstrack motor racing and of course, wedding videos. We filmed over 250 weddings alone, until we ceased trading in 1993.
We stopped filming because, with video cameras getting smaller and cheaper,
Uncle Fred thought . . .
"I can film the wedding for you, its easy right,
just point and shoot!!?"
Unfortunately, it took a while for Uncle Fred to realise, its not that straight forword. He couldn't 'enjoy' the Wedding and film at the same time, and computers weren't as good as they are today, so editing the wedding video could also be a nightmare, without the proper equipment and software.
After watching Uncle Fred's efforts, the Bride & Groom began to think . . .
this really should have be done right!
This is a once in a lifetime, special day!
Also, many Churches charge to film, and they want to see your *copyright licence.
And because we had so many people asking us if we were still filming weddings and sporting events, we had to say OK, OK, we get the message! So, due to popular demand, we relaunched in 2003.
So here we are, back again, to film your 'Special Day'.
But, we had to be up to date. So now we use the latest broadcast quality 'digital' cameras, and use a fast modern computer, with Sony editing software, to render onto DVD's. To give you chapters, graphics, and great picture quality.
We even changed our name to reflect the difference in quality between video tape and digital DVD.
Although filming Weddings is our main business, we still film sporting events and promotional DVD's for Companies.
